RESOLUTION NO. 2013-503
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF JACQUELINE
BRADFORD FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO.
3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Jacqueline Bradford is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on June 28, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in
conjunction with a family reunion event to be held at Byrnes
Park, to include a band/DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Jacqueline Bradford has made formal
application for a variance effective June 28, 2013 from 2:00 p.m.
to 11:00 p.m., together with recommendation and approval of the
Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jacqueline Bradford for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on June 28, 2013
from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in conjunction with a family
reunion event to be held at Byrnes Park, to include a band/DJ and
the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 2013.
