RESOLUTION NO. 2013-522
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF EVAN O'LEARY
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Evan O'Leary is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on June 29, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in
conjunction with a Wedding Reception event to be held at 211
Sheridan Road, including a DJ/band and the use of a PA system,
and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Evan O'Leary has made formal application for a
variance effective June 29, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,
together with recommendation and approval of the Director of
Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Evan O'Leary for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on June 29, 2013, from
5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with a Wedding Reception
event to be held at 211 Sheridan Road, including a DJ/band and
the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of June, 2013.
