RESOLUTION NO. 2013-523
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF ELIZ GUYER FOR
A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Eliz Guyer is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 3, 2013, from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, in
conjunction with a Wedding and Reception event to be held at 316
Euclid Avenue, including a DJ/band and the use of a PA system,
and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Eliz Guyer has made formal application for a
variance effective August 3, 2013, from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00
midnight, together with recommendation and approval of the
Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Eliz Guyer for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 3, 2013, from 7:00
p.m. to 12:00 midnight, in conjunction with a Wedding and
Reception event to be held at 316 Euclid Avenue, including a
DJ/band and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby
granted.
