RESOLUTION NO. 2026-284
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC.,
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$112,600.00 FOR THE EASTSIDE INTERCEPTOR - FY 2026
EMERGENCY SANITARY SEWER REPAIR AT DEAD END
OF NEVADA STREET PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has determined that professional engineering
and related services are necessary for the Eastside Interceptor - FY 2026 Emergency Sanitary
Sewer Repair at Dead End of Nevada Street Project; and
WHEREAS, AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, has submitted a
proposal to provide such professional services in an amount not to exceed $112,600.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interests of the City to approve
the Professional Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., for said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of
Waterloo, Iowa, in an amount not to exceed $112,600.00 for the Eastside Interceptor - FY 2026
Emergency Sanitary Sewer Repair at Dead End of Nevada Street Project is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
