RESOLUTION NO. 2026-289
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGES TO THE EMPLOYEE
HANDBOOK PURCHASING POLICY FOR EXPENDITURE
PRE -AUTHORIZATIONS AND BIDDING OR QUOTING,
EFFECTIVE MAY 19, 2026.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has determined it is necessary and in the best
interests of the City to renew its agreement with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for fees
associated with administration, network access, and stop loss; and
WHEREAS, the Renewal Agreement with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield establishes
the terms for such administrative, network access, and stop loss services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of said Renewal Agreement is
appropriate and in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Renewal Agreement with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for fees associated
with administration, network access, and stop loss is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2026.
