RESOLUTION NO. 2026-260
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS JUNE 11, 2026, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JULY 6, 2026, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES, CONTRACT
AB-2026-05-01P (54 LANE STREET), AND INSTRUCT THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost have
been prepared for Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract AB-2026-05-01P (54 Lane Street),
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it appropriate to approve said preliminary plans,
specifications, form of contract, and related documents, and to set a date for bid opening and
public hearing in connection therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for
Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract AB-2026-05-01P (54 Lane Street), are hereby approved.
2. The date of bid opening shall be June 11, 2026.
3. The date of public hearing on said plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate
of cost, and for consideration of bids, shall be July 6, 2026..
by law.
4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing as required
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18`h day of May 2026.
