RESOLUTION NO. 2026-269
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RUNWAY
18/36 REHABILITATION OUTSIDE RUNWAY 12/30 SAFETY
AREA, FAA AIP PROJECT NO. 3-19-0094-060 PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, proposes to undertake the Runway 18/36
Rehabilitation Outside Runway 12/30 Safety Area, FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-060 Project;
and
WHEREAS, specifications, bid documents, form of contract, and estimate of cost have
been prepared for said project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed bid documents and finds it
appropriate to confirm approval of the same and authorize the project to proceed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA:
1. The plans, specifications, bid documents, and form of contract for Runway 18/36
Rehabilitation Outside Runway 12/30 Safety Area, FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-060 Project
are hereby confirmed and approved.
2. City staff are authorized and directed to proceed with the bidding and related
procurement process for said project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2026.
