RESOLUTION NO. 2026-304
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH MIDWEST
CLEANING PROS, OF WAVERLY, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $103,848.00 ANNUALLY, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
CLEANING OF CITY HALL, CARNEGIE ANNEX,
WATERLOO POLICE TRAINING CENTER, VETERAN'S
MEMORIAL HALL, AND PARKING RAMP ATTACHED TO
THE WATERLOO BUILDING, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has determined the need for cleaning services
for City Hall, Carnegie Annex, Waterloo Police Training Center, Veteran's Memorial Hall, and
the parking ramp attached to the Waterloo Building; and
WHEREAS, Midwest Cleaning Pros, of Waverly, Iowa, has submitted a
proposal/contract to provide such cleaning services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of a Contract with Midwest Cleaning
Pros in the amount of $103,848.00 annually for said services is in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Contract between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and Midwest Cleaning Pros, of
Waverly, Iowa, in the annual amount of $103,848.00, for cleaning services at City Hall, Carnegie
Annex, Waterloo Police Training Center, Veteran's Memorial Hall, and the parking ramp
attached to the Waterloo Building, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
