RESOLUTION NO. 2026-306
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXCHANGE AGREEMENT
WITH PETERSON CONTRACTORS, INC., OF REINBECK,
IOWA, TO ALLOW THE EXCHANGE OF TOPSOIL FOR FILL
MATERIAL IN THE WARP SUBDIVISION AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has determined that it is in the best interests of
the City to enter into an Exchange Agreement with Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck,
Iowa, relating to the exchange of topsoil for fill material in the WARP Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc. has agreed to the terms of said Exchange
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of said Exchange Agreement is
appropriate and in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Exchange Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and Peterson
Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa, to allow the exchange of topsoil for fill material in the
WARP Subdivision, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
