RESOLUTION NO. 2026-307
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
NO. 1 WITH AECOM, OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $54,200.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY
2025 BIENNIAL BRIDGE REVIEW PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, previously entered into an agreement with
AECOM, of Waterloo, Iowa, in connection with the FY 2025 Biennial Bridge Review Program;
and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to approve Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with
AECOM to provide divers for the underwater inspection of the 8 Cedar River bridges as required
under federal law; and
WHEREAS, the amount of Supplemental Agreement No. 1 is $54,200.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of Supplemental Agreement No. 1 is in
the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. Supplemental Agreement No. 1 between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and AECOM, of
Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $54,200.00, in connection with the FY 2025 Biennial Bridge
Review Program, to provide divers for the underwater inspection of the 8 Cedar River bridges, is
hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
