RESOLUTION NO. 2026-310
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION -RELATED
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL
SERVICES, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $385,800.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
REHABILITATE RUNWAY 18/36 OUTSIDE OF RUNWAY
12/30 SAFETY AREA, FAA AIP PROJECT NO. 3-19-0094-060,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the Rehabilitate Runway 18/36
Outside of Runway 12/30 Safety Area project at the Waterloo Regional Airport; and
WHEREAS, said project is identified as FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-060; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a Construction -Related Services Agreement
with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, for services in connection with said
project; and
WHEREAS, the amount of said Agreement is $385,800.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of said Construction -Related Services
Agreement is in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Construction -Related Services Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
and AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $385,800.00, in
connection with the Rehabilitate Runway 18/36 Outside of Runway 12/30 Safety Area project,
FAA AIP Project No. 3-19-0094-060, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
