RESOLUTION NO. 2026-311
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH HDR ENGINEERING, INC., OF CEDAR
RAPIDS, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,525.00, FOR A
CONCEPT STATEMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
RIDGEWAY AVENUE AND HAMMOND AVENUE
ROUNDABOUT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has determined the need for professional
services for preparation of a concept statement in connection with the Ridgeway Avenue and
Hammond Avenue Roundabout project; and
WHEREAS, HDR Engineering, Inc., of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has submitted a
Professional Services Agreement to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, the amount of said Professional Services Agreement is $13,525.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of said Professional Services
Agreement is in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Professional Services Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and HDR
Engineering, Inc., of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in the amount of $13,525.00, for preparation of a
concept statement in connection with the Ridgeway Avenue and Hammond Avenue Roundabout,
is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
