RESOLUTION NO. 2026-297
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EMPLOYMENT
AGREEMENT WITH ROB DUNCAN FOR THE POSITION OF
POLICE CHIEF AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has identified Rob Duncan for
appointment/employment to the position of Police Chief; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed Employment Agreement setting
forth the terms and conditions of employment for said position; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the City to approve the
Employment Agreement with Rob Duncan for the position of Police Chief.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Employment Agreement between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and Rob Duncan
for the position of Police Chief is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
