RESOLUTION NO. 2026-299
RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH GROUT
MUSEUM, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $625,000.00, FOR THE
PERIOD JULY 1, 2026, THROUGH JUNE 30, 2027, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, desires to provide and support educational
services that enhance the quality of life for the residents of Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, Grout Museum, Inc. provides educational programming, cultural
opportunities, and related public services that benefit the residents of Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of the City to approve an
Educational Services Contract with Grout Museum, Inc., in the amount of $625,000.00, for the
period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Educational Services Contract between the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and Grout
Museum, Inc., in the amount of Six Hundred Twenty -Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars
($625,000.00), for the period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, to provide educational
services and enhance the quality of life for the residents of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby approved..
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of June 2026.
