RESOLUTION NO. 2016-670
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 8, 2016,
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 12, 2016,
FOR THE F.Y. 2017 SERGEANT ROAD TRAIL BRIDGE NO. 1
REPLACEMENT, CONTRACT NO. 917, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 12th day of September
2016, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on preliminarily approving plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the F.Y. 2017 Sergeant Road Trail
Bridge No. 1 Replacement, Contract No. 917, with the taking of bids at 1:00 p.m. on September
8, 2016.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 2016.
