RESOLUTION NO. 2016-671
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF CEDAR
VALLEY HOSPICE TO HOLD THEIR ANNUAL
FUNDRAISING EVENT, RELEASE AND REMEMBER ON
AUGUST 28, 2016 FROM 1:00 P.M. TO 3:00 P.M.
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Hospice has requested that they be allowed to hold their
annual fundraising event, Release and Remember on August 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00
p.m., together with the approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 1:00 p.m., with the partial barricade of the Park Ave
Bridge to allow golf carts to access the trail and navigate to the seating area to help shuttle guests
who are not able to walk easily to the Amphitheater.
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Cedar Valley Hospice to hold their annual fundraising
event, Release and Remember on August 28, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m, be and the same
is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 2016.
