RESOLUTION NO. 2016-672
REQUEST OF BECK'S TAPROOM GRILL FOR A VARIANCE TO
THE NOISE ORDINANCE ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2016 FROM 6:00
P.M. TO 9:00 P.M., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PARKING
LOT PARTY EVENT TO BE HELD IN THE FRONT PARKING
LOT OF BECK'S TAPROOM, 3295 UNIVERSITY
AVENUE, ALONG WITH THE USE OF A PA SYSTEM,
TOGETHER WITH THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
DIRECTOR OF SAFETY SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Beck's Taproom Grill, is requesting a variance to Noise Ordinance on
September 17, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Parking Lot Party event
to be held in the front parking lot of Beck's Taproom, 3295 University Avenue, along with the
use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094,Noise Ordinance,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,that the request of Beck's Taproom Grill for a variance to Noise
Ordinance on September 17, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Parking
Lot Parry event to be held in the front parking lot of Beck's Taproom, 3295 University
Avenue, along with the use of a PA system, together with the recommendation of the Director of
Safety Services, is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 2016.
