RESOLUTION NO. 2016-677
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS
ON U.S. 63 AT LOGAN AVENUE AND DANE STREET
INTERSECTION AND FROM FRANKLIN STREET TO JEFFERSON
STREET, TO BE UPGRADED TO ADAPTIVE SIGNAL CONTROL
TECHNOLOGY, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SUCH
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated August 22, 2016, between Iowa Department of Transportation and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, for traffic signals on U.S. 63 at Logan Avenue and Dane Street
intersection and from Franklin Street to Jefferson Street, to be upgraded to Adaptive Signal
Control Technology, is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the
same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August 2016.
