RESOLUTION NO. 2016-678
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MIDWEST
CONCRETE, INC., OF PEOSTA, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF
$347,123.44; AND APPROVING THE BONDS AND CERTIFICATE
OF INSURANCE FOR THE F.Y. 2017 SIDEWALK REPAIR
ASSESSMENT PROGRAM - ZONE 6, CONTRACT NO. 909; AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the contract dated August 22, 2016, between Midwest concrete, Inc. of Peosta, Iowa and the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of$347,123.44, and approving the bonds and certificate
of insurance, in conjunction with the F.Y. 2017 Sidewalk Repair Assessment Program - Zone 6,
Contract No. 909, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August 2016.
