RESOLUTION NO. 2016-680
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF A CERTIFIED LOCAL
GOVERNMENT PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $20,000 WITH A LOCAL MATCH AND IN-KIND
CONTRIBUTIONS OF UP TO $26,070 FOR A TOTAL PROJECT
COST OF $46,070 TO THE STATE OF IOWA AND THE NATIONAL
PARK SERVICE TO ALLOW FOR SITE SURVEYS TO BE
PREFORMED ON PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE WALNUT
COURT NEIGHBORHOOD, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the submission of a Certified Local Government Program Grant Application dated August
22, 2016, in the amount of$20,000 with a local match and in-kind contributions of up to $26,070
for a total project cost of$46,070 to the State of Iowa and the National Park Service to allow for
site surveys to be performed on properties located within the Walnut Court Neighborhood, is
hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same
on behalf of the City of Waterloo,Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August 2016.
