RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN
DONATED FEE TITLE ACQUISITION AND ACCEPTING
CERTAIN DEED TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE
CITY OF WATERLOO FROM LOST ISLAND REAL
ESTATE, LC FOR THE ACQUISITION OF NEEDED
PROPERTY FOR EAST SHAULIS ROAD RECREATIONAL
TRAIL (TAP-U-8155 (741) 81-70) , LOCATED NEAR
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF EAST SHAULIS ROAD AND
HESS ROAD.
WHEREAS, Lost Island Real Estate, LC has agreed to donate
certain parcels generally located near the northwest corner of
East Shaulis Road and Hess Road and fully described below, and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described
parcels are in conjunction with the East Shaulis Road
Recreational Trail (TAP-U-8155 (741) 81-70) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the deed for the parcels hereinafter
described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa situated
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, is accepted and
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo and to
execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to
purchase the property from the owner thereof, and the deed for
the conveyance of the same are also accepted and approved.
