RESOLUTION APPROVING DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
WITH M & R IOWA, LLC (FED EX) OF MADISON,
WISCONSIN AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Development Agreement dated March 4, 2013, for the sale
and conveyance of .866 acres of city -owned land located west of
the existing building at 2320 West Airline Highway for $1.00,
plus costs, for an expansion of the commercial building
consisting of approximately 10,707 square feet, adding
$755,000.00 of taxable value to the site and offering tax rebates
for 5 years at 50 percent, by and between M & R Iowa, LLC (Fed
Ex) of Madison, Wisconsin and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and
the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 2013.
