RESOLUTION NO. 2016-644
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT ETC. AND
SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 1, 2016,
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 6, 2016
FOR THE 2016 TREE REMOVAL PROJECT; AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers, City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of September
2016, for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost etc., in conjunction with the 2016 Tree Removal Project, with the
taking of bids at 1:00 p.m. on September 1, 2016.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 2016.
