RESOLUTION NO. 2013-175
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF GRANT
APPLICATION WITH THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF
DRUG CONTROL POLICY AND DIRECTING EXECUTION
OF SAID APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the submission of a SFY 2014 Byrne -Justice Assistance Grant
(JAG) application dated March 4, 2013, in the amount of
$547,352.70, with a required 25 percent city match, to be used
for funding salary and benefits for members of the Tri -County
Drug Enforcement Task Force, by and between the Governor's Office
of Drug Control Policy and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the
same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 2013.
