RESOLUTION NO. 2016-662
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT AND
ACCEPTANCE OF WORK PERFORMED BY KWS, INC. OF CEDAR
FALLS, IOWA FOR THE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL GRANT
PROJECT NUMBER SRTS-U-8155(729)--8U-07, AT THE
INTERSECTION OF W. 5TH STREET AND BALTIMORE STREET
WITH A TOTAL COST OF $123,211.90 AND RELEASE RETAINAGE
OF $6,160.60.
WHEREAS, KWS, Inc. of Cedar Falls, Iowa performed work on the Safe Routes To
School Grant Project Number SRTS-U-8155(729)--8U-07, at the intersection of W. 5th Street
and Baltimore Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, KWS, Inc. has completed the aforementioned project in accordance with the
project plans and specifications at a total cost of$123,211.90.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certificate of completion and recommendation of acceptance of work performed are
hereby approved and that the release of retainage to KWS, Inc. totaling $6,160.60, is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August 2016.
