RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT AND
RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK PERFORMED
FOR THE ARTWORK PORTION OF THE PROJECT PERFORMED
BY CHRISTOPHER BENNETT, OF KEOSAUQUA, IOWA, AT A
TOTAL COST OF $90,000.00 IN CONJUNCTION WITH F.Y. 2012
LOU HENRY HOOVER MEMORIAL SCULPTURE GARDEN,
CONTRACT NO. 803.
WHEREAS, Christopher Bennett, of Keosauqua, Iowa performed work on the artwork
portion of the F.Y. 2012 Lou Henry Hoover Memorial Sculpture Garden, Contract No. 803, at
the intersection of W. 5th Street and Baltimore Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Christopher Bennett has completed the artwork portion of the
aforementioned project in accordance with the project plans and specifications, at a total cost of
$90,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certificate of completion and recommendation of acceptance of work performed are
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August 2016.
