RESOLUTION NO. 2013-179
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF JAMESON'S
PUBLIC HOUSE, 310 EAST 4TH STREET, FOR
VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO.
3094.
WHEREAS, Jameson's Public House, 310 East 4th Street, is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on March 16, 2013
from 9:00 a.m. to March 17, 2013 at 12:00 midnight in conjunction
with the Saint Patrick's Day events, with the closure of a portion
of East 4th Street between Lafayette and Mulberry Streets,
including the use of a PA system and band, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Jameson's Public House has made formal
application for a variance effective March 16, 2013 from 9:00 a.m.
to March 17, 2013 at 12:00 midnight, together with recommendation
of approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jameson's Public House, 310
East 4th Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, on March 16, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to March 17, 2013 at
12:00 midnight in conjunction with the Saint Patrick's Day events,
with the closure of a portion of East 4th Street between Lafayette
and Mulberry Streets, including the use of a PA system and band,
be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of March, 2013.
