RESOLUTION NO. 2013-186
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF
COMMUNITY UNITED CHILD CARE CENTERS, INC. TO
REZONE APPROXIMATELY 4.8 ACRES OF LAND
LOCATED AT 3610 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE FROM "R-1"
ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R -
1,C -Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT, AS MARCH
25, 2013, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 25th day of March, 2013, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Community United Child Care Centers, Inc. to rezone approximately
4.8 acres of land located at 3610 Ansborough Avenue from "R-1"
One and Two Family Residence District to "R -1,C -Z" Conditional
Zoning District, and legally described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 26 of
Waterloo Country Club Addition with said point being on
the South right-of-way line of Ridgemont Road; thence
North 89007'57" East along said South right-of-way,
416.74 feet to the point of beginning of the herein
described Parcel D; thence continuing North 89007'57"
East along said South right-of-way line, 535.00 feet to
the centerline of Ansborough Avenue; thence South
00°38'19" East along said centerline, 391.30 feet;
thence South 89007'57" West, 535.00 feet; thence North
00°38'19" West, 391.30 feet to said South right-of-way
and the point of beginning, containing 4.81 acres, more
or less, including 0.45 acres, more or less, within the
presently established road right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
