RESOLUTION NO. 2013-323
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF FINANCIAL
RESOURCE ADVISORS FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Financial Resource Advisors is requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 8, 2013, from 4:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m., in conjunction with the 3rd Annual FRA Car Show
event to be held at 816 West Tower Park Drive, including a
band/DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Financial Resource Advisors has made formal
application for a variance effective June 8, 2013, from 4:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m., together with recommendation and approval of the
Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Financial Resource Advisors
for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on June 8,
2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in conjunction with the 3rd
annual FRA Car Show event to be held at 816 West Tower Park
Drive, including a band/DJ and the use of a PA system, be and the
same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 2013.
