RESOLUTION NO. 2013-327
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF SPICOLI'S FOR
A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Spicoli's is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on May 24-26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in
conjunction with the Cornstock event to be held at 3555
University Avenue, including a band/DJ and the use of a PA
system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Spicoli's has made formal application for a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on May 24-26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m.
to 11:00 p.m., together with the recommendation and approval of
the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Spicoli's for a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on May 24-26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00
p.m., in conjunction with the Cornstock event to be held at 3555
University Avenue, including a band/DJ and the use of a PA
system, be and the same hereby granted.
