RESOLUTION NO. 2013-330
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF SHOUT
MINISTRIES FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO.
3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Shout Ministries is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on July 27, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., in
conjunction with Family Christian Concert and Block Party event
to be held on West 2nd Street between Allen and Wellington
Streets, including a band/DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Shout Ministries has made formal application
for a variance on July 27, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.,
together with recommendation and approval of the Director of
Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Shout Ministries for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on July 27, 2013
from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., in conjunction with Family
Christian Concert and Block Party event to be held on West 2nd
Street between Allen and Wellington Streets, including a band/DJ
and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
