RESOLUTION NO. 2013-332
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF THE ACCEL
GROUP TO HOLD THE 1ST ANNUAL ACCEL TRIATHLON
ON JUNE 9, 2013.
WHEREAS, The Accel Group has made written application to the
City Council asking that they be authorized and permitted to hold
the lst Annual Accel Triathlon on June 9, 2013, together with the
approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said Triathlon will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will be
based out of George Wyth State Park, with the bike portion of the
race taking place on Waterloo, Cedar Falls and Black Hawk County
roads.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that permission is hereby granted to The Accel
Group to hold the lst Annual Accel Triathlon on June 9, 2013,
with said Triathlon to begin at 7:00 a.m. and will be based out
of George Wyth State Park, with the bike portion of the race
taking place on Waterloo, Cedar Falls and Black Hawk County
roads.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 2013.
