RESOLUTION NO. 2013-334
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF WATERLOO
COMMUNITY PLAYHOUSE/BLACK HAWK CHILDREN'S
THEATRE TO HOLD WORKIN' 9 TO 5, 5K RUN/WALK
EVENT ON JUNE 8, 2013.
WHEREAS, Waterloo Community Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's
Theatre has requested that they be allowed to hold a Workin' 9 to
5, 5K Run/Walk event on June 8, 2013, together with the approval
of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the route
to start at Commercial Street and Mullan Avenue, westbound to
River Road, River Road for one mile, turn around, and run back
past Mullan Avenue and the Playhouse, left on West Fourth Street,
and finish at Lincoln Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Waterloo Community
Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's Theatre to hold a Workin' 9 to 5,
5K Run/Walk event on June 8, 2013 beginning at 7:30 a.m., with
the route to start at Commercial Street and Mullan Avenue,
westbound to River Road, River Road for one mile, turn around,
and run back past Mullan Avenue and the Playhouse, left on West
Fourth Street, and finish at Lincoln Park, be and the same is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 2013.
