RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON AN
AMENDMENT TO THE AIRPORT AREA DEVELOPMENT
PLAN TO MODIFY AN EXISTING DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH TOURNIER MANUFACTURING, INC.
REDUCING THE MINIMUM ASSESSMENT FROM
$1,000,000.00 TO $400,000.00, AND ADDING A
NEW PROJECT BY KOELKER PROPERTIES, LLC TO
CONSTRUCT A 10,400 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING WITH
A MINIMUM ASSESSMENT OF $352,000.00, AS MAY
20, 2013, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of May, 2013, for
the purpose of considering an Amendment to the Airport Area
Development Plan to modify an existing Development Agreement with
Tournier Manufacturing, Inc. reducing the minimum assessment from
$1,000,000.00 to $400,000.00, and adding a new project by Koelker
Properties, LLC to construct a 10,400 square foot building with a
minimum assessment of $352,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 2013.
