RESOLUTION NO. 2013-362 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH N & S PROPERTY, LCC TO SELL AND CONVEY FOR $1.00, PLUS COSTS, PROPERTY TO BE ACQUIRED FROM HOPE MARTIN ANDERSON LOCATED AT 401-409 FRANKLIN STREET, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A $700,000.00 RETAIL BUILDING IN THE LOGAN TIF DISTRICT, ADDING TAXABLE VALUE TO THE SITE, AS MAY 20, 2013, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of May, 2013, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Development Agreement with N & S Property, LCC to sell and convey for $1.00, plus costs, property to be acquired from Hope Martin Anderson located at 401-409 Franklin Street, for the construction of a $700,000.00 retail building in the Logan TIF District, adding taxable value to the site, and legally described as follows: Assessor Parcel Nos. 8913-24-352-001, -002, and -007, legally described as: Lots 2, 3, 6, 7 and 10, and the Northwesterly 35 feet of the Southwesterly one-half of Lot 5, and the Northwesterly 35 feet of Lots 8 and 9, all in Block 62, Cooley Addition, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 2013. Ernest G.
