RESOLUTION NO. 2026-376
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FAA AIP GRANT NO. 3-19-0094-
061-2026, IN THE AMOUNT OF $112,100.00, FOR
REPLACE/UPGRADE AIRPORT LIGHTING CONTROL
MONITORING SYSTEM PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has offered Airport Improvement
Program Grant No. 3-19-0094-061-2026 to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of
$112,100.00 for the Replace/Upgrade Airport Lighting Control Monitoring System project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to accept said
grant and authorize execution of said documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. FAA Airport Improvement Program Grant No. 3-19-0094-061-2026, in the amount of
$112,100.00, for the Replace/Upgrade Airport Lighting Control Monitoring System project, is
hereby accepted and approved.
2. The Mayor and City Attorney are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July 2026.
