RESOLUTION NO. 2026-377
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PORTABLE TEMPORARY
TRAFFIC SIGNAL 28E AGREEMENT WITH BLACK HAWK
COUNTY, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TERMS OF AN
AWARDED TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
GRANT, FOR SHARED USAGE OF A SET OF TEMPORARY
TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and Black Hawk County desire to enter into a
Portable Temporary Traffic Signal 28E Agreement for the shared use of a set of portable
temporary traffic signals; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement is in conjunction with the terms of an awarded Traffic
Safety Improvement Program Grant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interest of the City to approve said
28E Agreement and authorize the execution thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The Portable Temporary Traffic Signal 28E Agreement between the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and Black Hawk County, in conjunction with the terms of an awarded Traffic Safety
Improvement Program Grant, for the shared use of a set of portable temporary traffic signals, is
hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
