RESOLUTION NO. 2026-363
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BAKER ENTERPRISES, INC.,
OF WAVERLY, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,484,186.47,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2025 W.A.R.P. 4TH
ADDITION, CONTRACT NO. 1114, AND RECEIVE AND FILE
A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into a contract for the FY 2025 W.A.R.P. 4th
Addition, Contract No. 1114; and
WHEREAS, Baker Enterprises, Inc., of Waverly, Iowa, has performed the work required
under the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted a report indicating the Project has been
completed in accordance with the contract documents, and has recommended acceptance of the
work; and
WHEREAS, the total contract amount for the work performed is $3,484,186.47.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves completion of the Project and accepts the work
performed by Baker Enterprises, Inc., of Waverly, Iowa, in conjunction with the FY 2025
W.A.R.P. 4th Addition, Contract No. 1114, in the amount of $3,484,186.47.
2. The two-year maintenance bond submitted for the Project is hereby received and filed
with the City Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July 2026.
