That whereas, the city enginner has prepared_ hnd filed in the office of
the city clerk, a plat, schedule and report showing the arlount of cost of
improvements to be assessed against each lot or parcel of ground on portions
of the streets and alleys as shovni by said Mat, sahedule and report, ordered
improved by this council, to -wit:
Constructing main sewers along {

Z'Jhereas the city has caused due notice of the special assessment for the
cost of said improvement to be pu ;lased as - rovided by lawjand
''hereas, the citi, council has inspected the aforesaid plat, sched.nle and
report as filed by the city engineer, and has inspected each lot or of
ground fronting said streets, and whiereas, the cit.� council finds in every
instance the amount set forth in said plat, scheO-nl e and report as assessed
against each lot or parcel of ground fronting and abutting said streets so
inproved, is in proportion to the special benefits conferred or, saidproperty
by reason of said street improvement as shwwn in the schedule hereto annexed
and :wade a part hereof and in no instance does the city council find the amount
in excess of said benefits as shown by said scheo_ule and finds that the assess-
