That wherr-la . s, the city mouncil has this day by resolution !To.
ordered the following described streets in the city of 'Waterloo, Iowa, graded,
curbed, guttered and paved with asphalt to -wit:
renter streett-Crom Me- "T' Fline of Logan avenue to the east line'
of Fairview avenue; Riehl street
from the west line of Logan avenue
to the east line of Burton avenue;
"Broadway from the north line of Cen-
ter street to the south line of Riehl
street; Barclay street from the north-
easterly line of Independence avenue
.to within two feet (2) of the tracks
of the C. G. W. Ry. Co., together
with the necessary intersections on
said above described streets where
not already paved,
Be it further resolved that the city clerk be and he is hereb�-, directed to
advertise for bids and proposals for the doing offf said work i.-L, accordance with
Section Ido. 813 of 'the Code, and t-J-1e date of opening said bids and proposals
to be at 7:30 o'clock p.m. on
That said improvements shall be paid for when the work is completed and- accept-
ed t-r-le cit- of 7aterloo, certificates issued

to the contractor against property;- abutting said improvelentis in proportion
to the number of lineal from feet of each parcel thereof, in accordance with
