Resolution of Necessity,
Be It resolved by the city council
of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
Whereas, It is deemed advieablq
and necessary to construct
sewers
along certain streets in the city O$
Waterloo, Iowa, hereinafter describ-
ed,, now, therefore
Be it resolved by the city council
of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that it
will consider the following proposed.

Said sewer to be constructed of .
standard vitrified sewer pipe.
Said sewer pipe to be laid In con•
fortuity with existing grades where
already established or to grades to
be established by the city council of
said city. Manholes are to be placed
along said sewer as shown by the
plans and specifications for said
work.
All of said work is to be done in
accordance ..with the plans and speci-
fications therefor to be prepared ' by
the city engineer of said city, and
filed in the office of the city clerk of
said city.

ers shall be aq"'�Ou the work to -
completed- and accepted by the city
council by sewer certificates issued to
the contractor against property abut-
ting on such sewer in proportion to
the number of lineal front feet of
each parcel thereof, which certifi-
cates shall be accepted by the con-
tractor in full payment for said work.
The contractor is to be required to
give bond to the city of Waterloo.
Iowa, in the SUM of one-third (1-3)
of the cost of said sewer with ap-
proved surety or sureties, as a guar-
anty that he will properly construct
and carry out said work and faithful

tions of his contract,
