Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo , Iowa:
That whereas, the city council has this day ordered the construction of sewers
along the following described streets in the city of Waterloo, ICYJa, to-wit:
On Raley street to within 1o0 feet'
of Independence avenue, 10 inches in
diameter; Mohawk street-from Inde
peadence avenue to Glenwood street,
12 inches. in diameter; Bluff street
rom street to within 120 feet
northwest of West Fourth street, 12
inches in diameter; Bratnober-street
from Columbia street to Lincoln
street, 12- inches-in diameter; Elm
street from Lafayette street to river,
30 inebas in diameter; -Lafayette,

Court, 15 inches in diameter; Stanley

Be it resolved that the city clerk be and he is hereby directed to advertise
for bids and proposals for the doing of said work, in accordance with Section
8I3 of the Code. The date for opening said bids and proposals to be or, the
day of r ,I9I3 at 7 :30 O"clock p.nj That said improve-
ments shall be paid for when the work is completed alid accepted by the •city
council by sewer certificates issued to the contractor against property abutt-
ing on such sewers in proportion to the number of lineal front feet of each
parcel thereof, which certificates shall be accepted by the contractor in full
payment for said work.
Said work is to be done in accordance with the plans and specifications
therefor prepared by the city engineer, approved by the city council and now on -
file in the office of the city clerk.
