Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
That whereas, trio yBryant Asphalt Paving Co, have completed the work
of constructing, asphalt pavement on Western Avenue from Elmwood Acv
to Locust Str.ee 'n Conger Park Addition; and
Whereas, the owners of all lots abutting, said described street
did on the light day of April 1912, petition for said work and
signed waiver and agreement waiving all pelirinary notices, resolutions
or other proceedings provided by law, pelimnary to and in connectin
with the Toing of said work, and agreeing that the cost thereof u
should be assessed against the abutting; property as provided by law
and that when so assessed the waivers on the assessment certificates
vould be signed by them, nowt/ therefore,
Be it resolved oy the city council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
that the work of constructing said asphalt pavement on said described,
street, be and the same is ''ereby accepted, and the cost thereof
is hereby assessed against the lots abutting said street as provided
by law, and in accordance with the petition, waiver and agreement
of the owners of said property and as shown by the plat and schedule
of the City Engineer now on file in the office of the City Clerk,

Be it further resolved that the mayor and City Clerk be and they
are hereby directed to issue paving certificates to said Bryant Asphalt
paving company in accordance with said plat and schedule tp pay the
cost of said improvement.
