Be it resoled bYithe City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
Tbit wheread, GOr0n Ailes has completed the work of constructing cement
sidewalk in front° of lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10 Block 2;
lots 1, 3, 5., 6, 7, and 10 block 3; lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 Block 1
lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 Block 2; lots 11, 22,
13, 14, 15, 17 18, and. 20 Block 3; lots 1, 2, A, 5, and 6 Block 6;
lots 1, I, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 block 5; lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9
and 10 block 4 all in Howrey and McWilliams repla t, and
Whereas the owners of all the lots above described, did on the
14th day of April 1913, petition for said work_and sign a waiver and
agreement waiving all peliminary resolutions, notices or other
proceedings required by law, peliminary to and in connection with the
doing of said Nork; and aggreoing that the cost thereof should be

assessed. against t e abutting property as required by law, and that
when so assessed the waivers on the assessment cortiricatps whuld be

Be it resolved by the city council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
that the work of constructing said sidewalks in front of thesaid
described lots be and the same is hereby accepted., and that the cost
thereof is hereby assessed against the abutting lots as providea by law
and in accordance with the petition and waiver and agreement of the
owners of said property and as shown by the plat and schedule of the
City Engineer now on file in the office of the City Clerk, showing the
cost and amount to be assessed against each lot and parcel of ground.
• Be it further resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk be and there
are hereby directed to issued sidewalk certificates to the said
