Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa: Whereas, it is deemed advisable and necessary to grade, curb, gutter and pave Mullen avennefrom the southwesterly line of Sycamore street to the north Gum f Pt",'�,e..rcNgip\ easterly line of - street including Mullen avenue bridge across the Cedar river and Cedar street from the southeasterly line of Mullen avenue to the southeasterly line of West Secondstreet together with the necessary inter-R seotions where not $lread7 paved, upon motion of the city council without petition therefor by property owners situated within one-half block and not exceeding three hundred feet from the street improved, now, therefore, be it Resolved, by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that it will consider the following proposed .'' --' resolution of necessity at a meeting of the city council to be held on the 22d day of June, 1914, at 7:30 otclock P.M. at the council chamber in the city hall, and the city alerk is hereby directed to give twenty daysi notice thereof in accordance with the law and ordinances governing the same, said resolution being as follows, to-wit: Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that the advisability and necessity of improving the streets hereinafter described are hereby declared and directed: Mullen avenue from the southwesterly line of Sycamore street to the northeasterly1liee of J.Ua;&on street including Mullen avenue bridge across the Cedar river and Cedar street from the south easterly line of Mullen avenue to the southeasterly line of West Second street together with the neoewaary intersections where not Urea* paved., upon motion of the city council without petition therefor by property owners situated with in one-halfblock and not exceeding three hundred feet from the street improved., 4 ':'?;,. of ,`1 ., ay. 4.,- lit, be i ro dwa' of Mullen avenue to be paved 40 feet in width except from the north- The 8 . easterly end of Mullan avenue bridge to 174 feet southwest of the southwest line of Sycamore street whioh is to be paved 66 feet in width and Mullen avenue bridge which is to be paved 32 feet in width; Cedar street to be paved 30 feet in width and constructed on each side of the roadway a Portland cement concrete curb or curb and gutter where not already built.
