Be it Resolved, by the city council °�
of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that it } 5-g s.--
is deemed expedient, advisable and
necessary to make improvements by
I grading, curbing, guttering and pav-
ing the streets hereinafter named.
The curbing or curb and gutter as
may be determined upon to be of
Portland cement concrete. The pave-
ment° to consist of one-inch asphalt
binder course and one and one-half
(1 1-2) inch asphalt wearing surface
laid on a five (5) inch Portland ce-
ment concrete foundation. Railway
and street railway tracks to be paved'
with No. 1 Vitrified Paving BIocks
upon a six (6) inch Portland cement
concrete foundation. The founda-
tion to be prepared and the paving
to be constructed in accordance with C
specifications furnished by the city
engineer of the city of Waterloo,
Iowa, and approved by the city coun-
ciI of said city of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the following named streets and
parts of streets, to-wit:
Kimball avenue from the south
line of Reber avenue to the north
line of Third avenue to be paved 24
