Be it resolved by the city council ofthe city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That whereas, the Dearborn Consgruction Company, have completed the work of
constructing concrete pavement in the Alley in block 19, Original Plat of West
Waterloo, and
Whereas the owners of all lots abutting said described Alley did on the
22d day of September, 1913, petition for said work and signed waiver and agree
ment waiving all preliminary notiees, resolutions or other proceedings provide
by law, preliminary to and in connection with the doing of said work, and agre
ing that the cost thereof should be assessed against the abutting property as
provided by law and that when so assessed the waivers on the assessment certif
bates would be signed by them, now, therfore
Be it resolv6d by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that the
work of constructing said concrete pavement on said described Alley, be and th
same is hereby accepted, and the cost thereof is hereby assessed against the
C3'(\lots abutting said efts-at as provided by law and in accordance with the petiti
waiver and agreement of the owners of said property and as shown by the plat
and schedule of the city engineer now on file in the office of the city clerk,
showing the cost and amount to be assessed against each parcel of ground abutt
ing said described Alley.
Be it further resolved that the mayor and city, clerk be and they are hereby
directed to issue paving certificates to said Dearborn Construction Company it
accordance with said plat and schedule to pay the cost of said improvement.
