That whereas, the city council has this day by resolution
ordered the following described streets in the city of Waterloo, Iowa, graded,
curbed, guttered and paved with asphalt , to-wit:
East Tenth street from the;

Be it further resolved that the city clerk be and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bids and proposals for the doing of said work in accordance
with Section #813 of the Code and the date of opening said bids and proposals

That said improvements shall be piid for when the work is completed and
accepted by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, by certificates
issued to the contractor against all the lots or parcels of land according
to area in proportion to the benefits thereto and within one-half block or
not exceeding 300 feet of the street improveio:nt and cost of paving street
and alley intersectdnus to be assessed in accordance with the laws, ordinances
and resolutions of this Council governing same.
The city expressly reserves the right to stop tho work for the purpose of
putting in public service pipes on any of said streets, in which event the
time will be extended for the completion of said work.
