Be it aeeolveC by the city council of the city of waterloo , Iowa:
That whereas , the city council he this day by resolution
ordered the following described streets in the city of :atorloo , Iowa,
graded , curbed , guttered and paved with asphaltic concrete , to-wit :
Wellington street from the
northwesterly line of First street to
the east line of Belmont street• Al-
len street from the northwesterly line
of First street to the southeasterly
line of Mullan avenue; Randall street
'from the west line of Sunnyside ave-
nue to the east line of Belmont
• street; Reber avenue from the east
line of Moir street to,the east line
of Euclid avenue; Oak Lawn avenue
from the south line of Falls avenue
to the north line of Mullan avenue
together with the necessary intersec-
tions where not already paved.
Be it further resolved that the city clerk be and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bids and proposals for the doing of said work in accordance
with Section No. 813 of the Code and the date of opening said bids and pro-

posals to be at 7 :,-)0 o ' clock p.m. on \:1C\ Th 9 1914.

That said improvements shall be paid for Shen the work is coupleted and
accepted by the city council of the city of waterloo , Iowa , by certificates
issued to the contractor against all the lots or parcels of land according
to area in proportion to the benefits thereto and within one-half block or
not exceeding 300 feet of the street improvement and cost of paving street
and alley intersections to be assessed in accordance with the laws , ordinances
and resolutions of this Council governing same.
The city expressly reserves the right to stop the work for the purpose of
putting in public service -,ipts on any of said streets , in which event the
time will be extended for the completion of said work.
