Be it resolved 7y the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That whereas, the city council has this day ordered the construction of
sewers along the following described streets in the city of Waterloo, Iowa, by
resolution No.
On West Fourth street from the
southwesterly line of Washington
street to the northeasterly line of
South street to be 12 inches in diam-
eter.
On Oak Lawn, avenue from Well-
ington Street fo* the north line of
Mullan avenue fo be 10 inches in di-
ameter.
On Forest avenue from Dry Run
sewer to 108 feet east of the east
line of West Sixth street t

Be it further resolved that the city clerk be --ind he is hereby directed to
advertise for bids and proposals for the doing of said work in accordance with
Section 813 of the Code „ The date for opening said bids and proposals to be
on the \ \A day of 7 :30 o 'clock p.m.
That said improvement shall be paid or when the work is completed and accepted
by the city council by sewer certificates issued to the contractor against pro-
perty abutting on such sewers in proportion to the number of lineal front feet
of each parcel thereof which certificates shall be accepted by the contractor
in full payment for said work.
Said work is to be done iD accordance with the plans and specifications there
for prepared b: the city engineer , approved by the city council and now on file
in the office of the city clerk.
